Collaborative Projects
Galería Chilena (GCH) / artist-run space
Active between 1997 and 2000 in Santiago, Chile, GCH promoted the work of young artists while testing the possibilities of working in lack of a physical space in the years of transitional democracy and macro economic wealth. The nomadic strategy of GCH was intended as a critique of Santiago's contemporary art circuit, which in the late 90s was composed of either traditional commercial galleries or governmental funded non-profit spaces. From 2000 to 2005 GCH ́s mobility and economy moved away from the framework of the gallery to a collaborative structure of experimentation and encounter; a non-place for discussion and joining forces.
La nube loca / collaborative projects, exhibitions
Since 2007 Felipe Mujica has been active in the organization of exhibitions and collaboration projects for spaces such as: Capacete, Rio de Janeiro (2007), A Gentil Carioca, Rio de Janeiro (2007), LA OTRA, Bogota (2007), Perros Negros, Mexico City (2007), Sezzession Wichtelgasse, Vienna (2008), Ex-Civic Room, London (2010), Kunsthalle Exnergasse, Vienna (2010), Temporary Gallery, Cologne (2010), Proyectos Ultravioleta, Guatemala City (2103), Die
